Update by list!
This past weekend
- Had son's friends over for Halloween and a sleepover (consisting of very little sleep) on Friday night.
- Met my family on Saturday morning for a memorial and breakfast and then went to the adult Halloween party. There was an ice luge. And a stripper pole. I took advantage of both (minus the actual stripping). No, there will be no pictures posted.
- Woke up Sunday with a small hangover and sore abdominals. Had lunch in Annapolis with smilie117, luminousmarble and praetorianguard.
- Also, Autumn was EVERYWHERE this weekend! It really must have been the peak of the color change for this area.
This morning
I decided that I really needed to go to the grocery store and to get a manicure and that I really couldn't be bothered to do that tonight. So, I took the morning off! Empty grocery store + new manicure + no traffic = FTW!
This week
Last week, in a discussion with darthrami, it was decreed that this would be the week of Only Good News. So far, it's going well as there have two pieces of Awesome News, neither of which are public yet, but are still Awesome.
But we still have to get through Tomorrow. I'm still at the optimistic-but-don't-admit-it-lest-you-jinx-the-results point. But then I was browsing around and saw this on Jezebel:
And I was reminded that this is the week of Only Good Things. Yes, We Can!
