Oh Geez!
I have to admit, I'm a little surprised by some of the reactions to The Reborn's Halloween filler.
It might be filler, but I actually like to think this really happened not long after Jade split up with A&A. So the "rules" still apply. The reason the Ringiv didn't attack Jade is because Jade is pre-pubescent. Jade is a virgin, yes, but the whole pre-pubescent thing trumps that. The Ringiv can't (won't?) eat the hearts of children.
And yes, the fact that people thought that Jade wasn't attacked because she isn't a virgin squicks me. She might be a few hundred years old, but she stopped aging mentally and physically at around ten years old. She's a child and always will be. The idea of Jade having sex...DO NOT WANT!!!!!!! In any event, since Welej seem to reproduce asexually, Jade probably lacks whatever interest in sex a human child might have...
