Restless
I don't know why but I've been feeling very restless lately. I have all sorts of ideas for things I want to draw and I'm really excited to draw them, but when I actually sit down at my desk, I can't really focus. I've been going for walks pretty much every day since Christmas, but they're always short. I usually walk down to the convenience store then walk back. It only takes about twenty minutes round trip, so it's not really enough to cure my restlessness.
I miss my park. I miss walking to the park and just walking in circles until my restlessness was gone. The park is actually still within walking distance, but it's so much further away, that by the time I got there, I'd probably have to turn back right away. I might have to do it some day when the weather is okay.
I bought these really cute Bowser, Mario and Peach figurines a few days ago. I'd been wanting the Peach figurine since I first saw her, but I waited until after Christmas when I had more money. Since they were 25% off, I decided to get Bowser as well. They actually rang up at half price, so I got Mario too. I thought I saw Luigi when there were first in the store, but they either all sold or I was mistaken. Since neither Jon nor Vince remembers seeing Luigi, I might have been wrong.
Anyway, I took them out of the packaging. They're really close in size to G4 My Little Ponies, the top of Mario's hat is pretty much even with Rarity's horn, and Bowser and Peach are slightly taller, of course. Bowser actually ended up being my favorite of the three. He's quite a bit bigger and more detailed. He currently lives on top of my printer, surrounded by ponies.
