Vacation Report
I've had a fun vacation, for the most part. I've been really busy most days, trying to cram two months of summer fun into one week. Sunday was probably the busiest day. I got up early for church with Dad, between that and having not slept well for several days, I actually dozed off . ^^;
We had planned to go to a lake in the afternoon, but the weather was iffy and the lake was dirty, so we ended up driving to Atlantic City and walking on the Boardwalk for a little while. We weren't there long, though, since it was getting late and Dad had to meet someone.
On Monday my mom and I went to the beach for a few hours. It was really beautiful and the best beach day we ended up having all week. We went to the beach Tuesday as well. That evening my Dad, brother and I drove over to the island to go miniature golfing. I haven't played in a few years and I lost. Badly. ._.
I'm glad my father was joking about the loser buying dinner. XD
Wednesday was a family cookout. My grandparents came as well, which was nice. My niece brought a friend and afterwords we all wondered if she was high. Yesterday was my mom's birthday, so we went to the beach again. Sadly, it wasn't as nice as the previous days. It was more crowded than before and there were lots of rude shoobies. We actually ended up moving from our original spot, since the people who were next to us were so rude. It was a little chilly and windy, so we ended up leaving after only about two hours.
Today I plan on staying home and doing nothing. Well, by nothing I mean, draw comics. I had hoped to use my time off to get ahead a little bit, but I've been too busy. There are only a few pages left of the current chapter of The Reborn, so I should start thinking about character Q&A. Since Adrian wasn't in this chapter, I want him to have the Q&A this time.
