I just saw Matt's lj and his 'who would play me in the film of my life?' meme.
So who would play me?
I wish it was Angelina Jolie, but I think not.
I have a little Dante on my lap, he's fast asleep with his head on the desk. He is one cuddly little doglet :)
My sleep patterns are totally fucked atm. Despite going to bed early, I can't get to sleep until it's getting light outside, around 5.30-6am. Then I can't stay awake, so I don't get up until about 3pm. It's very frustrating! I want to make the most of the day outside in the garden, but I just can't get to sleep before then, and I can't seem to get up and set myself right either.
I think I'm going to ache all over tomorrow. I spent a large part of this evening in the garden digging up the earth with a fork and removing stones and other debris. I found a huge claw which I thought at first was a tooth, but it's too curved and hollow to be a tooth. I'm not sure what it came from, but it must have been a scary critter! I also found a whole human skeleton the other day, this would have been exciting if it wasn't 3" of plastic and out of a cracker. There's lots of old broken china and bones, lots and lots of bones. I thought a dog must have buried them, but there are too many for that, I think they were just the remains of carcases the previous occupants slaughtered and ate. Pretty gruesome.
Off for a soak in a lavendar bath now to sooth my bones and send me to sleep with any luck.
