It lives...just!

Bleurgh! I have evil sore throat lurgy and it is making me feel really poo.

At the beginning of this week I was really happy.

I missed Greg and Gem coming to Plymouth on Friday, which was poop, *waves*...

But I went out on Saturday night and had a great night.
Gina put on some porn before we went out (dirty dirty girl!), which reminded me that I am youngish free and single. We went to a gig at the Phoenix where we drank lots, lots of G&T for me, and watched some great bands. Gina introduced me to the drummer from "Stockyard Stoics" and I spent most of my time chatting to him. He is married, so don't get the wrong idea, but I had a lovely time chatting away to him. It was nice to meet a new person and have a good natter about all sorts of stuff. Wish he lived round here as he was a really nice sorted bloke and would probably be a lovely friend. I must confess he was rather scrummy to look at too. Anyhoo, I got some free stickers and badges with my T-shirt ;p
I also met a couple of Gina's friends who were really nice and I chatted to a bit. I like going out and meeting lovely new people, it's been ages since I've done that!

After that we headed to Black Catz. It was very very dead, but we were in a party mood so we boogied and boozed and had fun nonetheless. I met an admirer called Rich *blush* I thought he said his name was "Bitch", I am such a cow! I'm very very flattered to have a 21 year old admirer, but as you probably know I'm not suitable material for dating atm, being a bit mental and all that!

Back at Gina's we had delicious cheesy beans on toast. Goddamn that's good stuff!

On Sunday afternoon, Kay's Mum and Dad came to visit the Sprouts, YEY!
It was lovely to have them over as I haven't seen them in ages. Glad to say they were looking very well and told us all about Kay and Bill and Dogs and visits. They also brought a mountain of Hersheys from Kay for Lynsey and I, mmmm, and a beautiful bag which Kay had made for me. This bag is unbelievable! It's so gorgeous and Kay made it all herself. Thankyou so much babe, I love it!

That evening I spoke to Dom, who said I sounded really happy. Me? Happy? Bloody hell!

After that things went down hill.

I got nasty sore throat, cold, cough, aches etc and have not been able to do much sewing or gardening. I do love bed, but being stuck in it all icky and alone is not good. Now I feel poorly and miserable :( Boo hoo! It even hurts to talk on the phone as I am so croaky and crappy *sniffle sniffle*.

Matt phoned earlier which was lovely ;) I haven't caught up with him in a while so it was lovely to hear from him. *waves and sends hugs*

Glenn has been lovely too whilst I've been feeling poo. Thankyou sweetie-pie! ;)

Sorry for not being in contact with peeps much lately.

I think I'll go and watch a dvd or something. I'm actually awake now, as I've slept for large chunks of the day after being awake most of last night coughing and spluttering. I did go outside and pot a couple of pansies today, but felt all hot and giddy, so went back to bed again. It's a bit gutting to have been doing so well earlier in the week and now I'm all teary and back to square one. Oh well, chin up farmer girl! Onwards and upwards!

Sorry if I've missed out anything important, my mind is a bit hazy atm!
