Rat House Cleaning Service

I was cleaning my rats cage before I turned on my computer. It takes me less time to put them in the bathroom and shut the door. I like it best when they get to run around our room checking anything and everything they can, even if most of it they have explored and sniffed before. It makes me happy when they come over and scamper over my legs, or a occasional "feed me" trick where they get on their back feet and stand up like a little puppy begging for treats, which they normal get cause I am a sucker. And for some reason they are fascinated but their cages when I put them to the side to clean the bottoms. They jump into it, over it and such.
Well I guess today was "screw with mommy day" They got into places they knew I would come get them out of. They would not let me clean the cage, jumping in and out of the trays when I was trying to empty them. I finally got them out of the areas I was cleaning I reached into the cage to losses some of the poop that was stuck on the bottom of their fave pooping corners. I gave it a good pop to loosen it up, it didn't. So instead of being smart I would have scraped the rap I gave it another good whack, I got it that time... right in my eye. *sad but funny* Then when I was running around with the rats and trying to be all interactive Sugar Shits bit my eye lid, front teeth under and top over, it was just a light mouthing, have not had one really bite me. Something about a rats teeth rubbing my yer eyeball and grab my eyelid w/a very gentle tug, just creepy.
Sugar Shits then found a way to get lost in a small plastic bag. She finally had her head out but got her neck through the handle till figuring it all out. Then, I think, that bag was her worse enemy. She bounced on top of it and moved it all around. When she got it to the place she wanted she jumped on and off it again. Well guess more like a toy than an enemy, but I like my version of Sugar Shits beating the shit out of a bag.
Then as I was vacuuming the mess up they all popped their heads from around the room and came over. For some odd reason they LOVE the vacuum. They come over to sniff it, bites the mouth of the hose, even sometimes stick their nose right into it. Should not be funny, but it does not hurt them just confuses as it goes to stick it back in again. If I vacuum when they are in their cage they try to see where it is coming from and securing through out the cage.
I LOVE MY BABIES
