I'm pretty anal, too. People come over to my apartment and it's all I can do to not be like "DON'T! TOUCH! ANYTHING!". I like things my way! But I think everyone is like that to some extent, we all have our little rituals and stuff, just some more than others. But hey I mean at least you know what you want, because it could be worse - you could be one of those annoying people who live a life of eternal indecision and general ineptitude.

Shudder. Those people make me twitchy. I get uptight on their behalf sometimes.
Admitting that your parents have a problem is the first step toward getting better. :P
I always love the portrait of a Mallory as a young woman entries, so thank you! I hope that my daughter turns out exactly like you, but am simultaneously terrified at what that will mean to my already fragile nerves in seven short years.
It was hard at first, but I've come to terms with it. My parents are weird. Hopefully that will help us all heal.
Awww, thank you! And I hope, for your sake, that Catherine doesn't turn out like me because...well, your nerves will be totally shot and she'll try your patience. Like, a lot. But I guess I'm not all bad, there are worse people she could be like.
::blush:: Coming from the queen of fab, that means a lot. Danke.
I wonder about the parents who didn't teach their kids to color in the lines, how do you let your child grow up like that? And then when the teachers didn't correct it? That's just not right.

Why can't there be more people who know what they're doing?

Seriously. That would solve so many of the world's problems.
