Yozak took a moment to appreciate Anissina's exquisite....taste....in lingerie...before turning his back to her and shrugging off his coat. He hung his uniform over a tree branch and dug out his disguise undergarments: his well-worn corset; a pair of warm, white stocking; a fancy garter belt he'd been able to save from the barracks. The corset was the most important part of the ensemble: Anissina could get by without extra support - after all, she already had breasts. But Yozak need a little help with that.

Off with the jerkin and the long, warm leggings. It took a few extra minutes for the spy to slip on and tighten his corset, but he had done it plenty of times before. He adjusted his false bust, making sure it wasn't going to look as false as it felt, before slipping the uniform over his head. The tan skirt brushed against his knees bare knees before he quickly tugged on a warm pair of stocking and slipped his pinching, slightly-too-small shoes onto his chilly feet.

"But I do wish there were more bows. I do so love bows."

Yozak chuckled as he looked over his shoulder at his frilly co-conspirator. "Oh, and you do look ~so~ nice in them," he teased lightly. He was well-aware he looked far more ridiculous than she did, but looking silly hardly mattered to him when he was on the job, and there were definite benefits to a disguise like this. Servants could go anywhere. Unless they got sidetracked by someone who needed a floor mopped or linens changed NOW, it probably wouldn't take them more than an hour or two to find Conrad.

Yozak, now fully garbed in his disguise, save for his apron and cap, leaned over his pack again and fished around until he seized his makeup. He handed the compact of rouge to Anissina while he himself opened up a tube of his favorite dark lipstick.

Yozak pursed his lips and put the lipstick away. He wished he had a mirror to make sure that he put it on correctly, but he wasn't too anxious about it. He was experienced enough to know when he'd done a poor job. Eyeshadow next, a simple color that made his sharp, alert eyes look slightly more doe-like and innocent. It wasn't much, but it definitely helped.

He put the cosmetics aside when he was finished and tied on his apron. Yozak gave silent thanks for its large, deep pockets as he loaded his supplies in: the last few lemon bars; Hoka-Conrad's sleeping potion; a few bits of cloth and cheap lock-picks; and finally, the houseki, wrapped in thick layers of cloth--for emergencies only. He added the frilly little maid cap and strapped his dagger securely to his thigh, then smoothed his ugly skirt down with a sigh. Okay. Ready to go.

And then he looked over at Anissina.

Anissina, who looked like she was trying to put rouge on her temples.

Yozak pursed his red, red lips as he watched her fumble, trying not to chuckle. "Need some help?"

"I'm the one with the girl parts. I think I can handle it."

"Fair enough," Yozak responded with a shrug, leaning over and packing his possessions away. If she couldn't bear to admit she needed help just yet, fine. He could wait a few more minutes.

Now, where to hide his things? There had to be at least one good hiding spot nearby where these things could lie undisturbed for a few hours...

"Well, is it on straight?"

Yozak looked over his shoulder, his vision somewhat obstructed by the frilly apron cuff, and grinned again. "Sure. It looks okay. Just let me make a few little adjustments..." And without waiting for her to give permission or protest, Yozak snatched the rouge from her hands. A quick flick of the brush here and there...the color was a bit too light for Anissina's skin...and her eyes were a bit too wide...but her lips her the perfect shape, and she wore his color well. Yozak plowed on, covering up her larger mistakes and refusing to be deterred. After a minute or so he stepped back to admire his work. Anissina's already large eyes had been emphasized even further, making her look intensely childlike and naive. Her flushed cheeks and red lips were stunning in contrast to her bright blue eyes, and for a moment Yozak found himself staring for more reasons than just taking pride in his work.

"Yep," he said after a long, tense moment, smiling broady. "Perfectly straight."

Anissina-sama has really long eyelashes.

"And here I was, thinking we'd need sleeping potion to distract the guards," Yozak said, mostly to himself. He raised his eyebrows as an attractive little sliver of pale flesh peeked out from under Anissina's petticoat. Then she winked at him and started strapping various weapons about her person. Perhaps he was being too flippant about the mission, or maybe it was just because he'd dealt with Belal's low-quality guards on a few occasions, but Yozak didn't really feel that so many weapons were necessary. A sword would have been nice, but with his dagger and the houseki, he could best any man in that castle. But if Anissina wanted to take them and she could hide them well, Yozak was not going to complain.

"There is a nice, thick bush over there to slip our packs into, but it might be a tight fit."

Yozak grinned as as he crouched by the bush. There was indeed a small space underneath its thorns where they could hide their possessions, but they'd have to manipulate their packs just so in order for them to lie comfortably against each other.

"We'll just have to be gentle and careful with our equipment, then."

"Ouch." Yozak pressed a hand between his flagrantly fake breasts. "You wound me, Marina-sama. Some people think I'm a very pretty maid, you know~

"Some people with very specialized tastes," he muttered, grinning, as he knelt to shove his equipment firmly beneath the thorny bush. He paused for a moment, thinking, as Anissina knelt and shoved her own gear in next to his.

What would be better? Split up to get the job done quickly, or stay together for security? If it had been Jaeger or Ivo with him, Yozak probably would have insisted they stick together, but he'd learned by now that Anissina, with her houseki shields and her multilingual talents, could handle herself.

"Let's split up. Ten said he'd be in the west wing somewhere; I'll search the southern part and you take the northern part." Yozak peeked out from behind the stable to survey as much as he could of the castle.

"We'll meet in the scullery in two and a half hours and pool our information. The maids'll be cooking lunch by then, and they're always gossips, no matter what the country. If we haven't found Conrad by then, maybe we can coax some information out of one of them."

Yozak grinned as Anissina turned and headed towards the west wing, her beige skirt fluttering in the wind behind her. As he watched, Anissina slip past the servants' quarters and out of his sight. Yozak put her out of his mind almost as soon as she vanished. She could handle herself. No reason for him to worry about her.

...right.

Yozak quickly scanned the vicinity for guards and darted out again, hiding himself behind the servants' quarters and eying his mark. Then, almost as an afterthought, he wet his fingertips and rubbed the smudge of red off of his cheeks.

Time to go.
