Very, very sweet, in character and touching. This made me all misty eyes. These two, Mary and Laura, have a special relationship. A special mother, with a special daughter. It shines through in your ficlet.
Thank you very much for sharing.

Thank you so much, hon. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I don't often write out of the blue and I was afraid this might be a bit too sappy or that it might not flow well enough. So again, thanks. Your comment made me smile.

Your story made ME smile. :D
It's funny, sometimes I write out of the blue, too, and I think you can go never wrong with a story coming directly from the heart.
This one is made of WIN, and don't you think otherwise. :D

Thanks. I'll stop re-reading and cringing then. LOL

Re-reading always is a baaaaaad idea. *lol* I don't do it, and if I write longer stories and want to know if I am about to mess up my own canon, I simply ask Ria. She can tell you what is going on in my stories, I can't. *lol*

I'm a compulsive re-reader. Just like I'm a compulsive re-writer.

I didn't rewrite the paragraphs in this one. I basically sat down and typed away and in less than an hour it was finished.

My goal was to get my muse going and to simply write what came to mind instead of going through the insane process I usually go through, especially with my FAT fic.

So as a writing exercise, I'm pleased that I finished it quickly. But as a story per say... I don't know how to feel about it.

I wish writing came easy. It doesn't. But at least I love it. (even when it gives me headaches LOL)

Hmmmh, I'd say the result of this experiment is satisfying. :D
But when I think back, I used to check each sentence twice, thrice... and I deleted them, started anew.... oy...
That passed.... just not the headaches. *lol*

I hope that tendency passes for me. LOL Writing FAT is extremely time consuming because of that. I've been working on my chapter for a few weeks now and have many, many, many hours into it and I'm only at page 9.

It's sooooooo slow go.
