I stayed up last night working on a short story (location: Toronto on Christmas Eve; what is it about the heights of summer that makes me want to write about the depths of winter?), and, sometime around two o'clock, I realised that I essentially write the same characters over and over again in different guises. *headdesk

Hello there ma'am! How are you?! Thought I'd take a break from writing said story to say hi...don't know how it's going to turn out - I'm tackling potentially wonky subject matter, so we'll see...will certainly post you a content warning before I send anything, if you still want to read it...
Not much new -just been busy with work. Was at a quiet branch the other week, and my coworker put a Muse album on the computer for us to listen to while shelving, and I wondered how you were :-) Talk to you soon? ;-)

Wonky subject matter... this is so intriguing. I'm okay with pretty much anything subject matter wise and I love the way you write so, bring it on.

Did you like the Muse album? It's okay if you didn't but I'm interested to know. I'm chuffed they made you think of me anyway. ;)

Er, think less intriguing and more...really, really wonky...Could be a little while coming your way, since I actually need to figure out what I want to say in advance of writing this thing, (instead of just charging away at it the way I usually do) but I shall send you bits as it goes :-)

I did quite like Muse! Apparently I have an inner stadium rock groupie just waiting to be let out - further listening is commencing ASAP!

It has indeed been far too long - are the nice computer ladies still being nice to you and the decimated ToT, or are you having to bite the bullet and find a surrogate machine?
