The Novel Has Landed
Hurray! NaNo has commenced. I have a pile of words to show for it, but sadly, I cannot log them because my account doesn't want to appear onscreen. It's either my faulty internet connection or the site is down again...I shall just have to try tomorrow. And write more in the meantime. I'm still feeling my way through the main character's voice (haven't written in first-person narration in years), but it's slowly becoming clearer. And the other characters are coming more into focus, most of them kind of out of the ether, because what little I'd planned of this thing mostly had to do with all of two and a half characters, while everyone else remained pretty much unknown. This is all a bit of a relief. Only 29 more days to go...
