So before i leave for work....
So, this is made sort of from an Xray of a former student's teeth... she allowed me to xerox her xrays, and i played with the exposure and the brightness and made several copies to use for a piece. Two years later, here is something i just began working on. Its very much in the beginning stages. i used an ink pen with pointillist technique (obviously) and have been making dot after dot for a couple weeks now in my spare time. It is mounted scrap like to a roughly 8.5x11 piece of cardboard. i plan on incorporating some collage and lots of brightly colored shapes. (also mimicking some of the shapes here.) i got some of the pointy shapes from how the actual shading came out on the xerox... variations in the tone.
Its a very sharp scan so it doesnt look as sharp as it looks in this scan.
