Well lent has helped me decide what to do with my hair. I had dark brown dreads with a few of the under layer a kind of raspberry colour at the ends. I didn't take pics til it was ready to come out, so I don't have any nice ones of it. Then I took it out and put loose extensions in. My hair is a grown out a-line, so it's really long at the front and short-shoulder length at the back. I evened the length up with black human. My hair is black except the top few inches of regrowth which is my natural colour. I am surprised that there isn't more of a dramatic change in colour. It kinds of fades from dark mouse to black. You can't really see the join. I want the black gone. I want red. Bright red. Anyway, I also put in bright red extensions, auburn, and burgundy. Again, didn't take a picture til it looked a bit ratty. At the moment I have my own hair, with one auburn weft as a streak.
So I was thinking I might do burgundy dreads with a few of the underlayer transitioning into bright orangey red blend. Then realised that lent prohibits me from buying KK hair.
So problem solved as I was debating a different style anyway... which was lots of loose red human hair, and some of it dreaded, and some black loose human, and some dreaded in amongst my own hair, so a kind of loose and dreads messy natural style. Human hair is obviously allowed. But it will come in a plastic packet!
So, my old dreads will be going back in!!
