Quiz + Didn't Read = Who cares?!?

Nov 30, 2004 09:22

I've got lots of reading to get done in 67 minutes, so, naturally I thought I would update my LJ (its been awhile). :o) Let's see what to say....

It's raining outside (again), and I did not bring my umbrella (pronounced umBRELla). So I'll probably get pretty wet on my way home (again). I'm ready for the beautiful snow---who's with me! I know Starksie is and probably Annie, too! When it does snow over break, I'm going to post on LJ: sledding time!! And whoever wants to come, can.

I babysat for the Zuzolo's this Saturday. They were cute, as always. Francey (7) was very helpful- while the baby (Peter) was screaming she washed Joe's (3) hair and got him out of the tub, dried off, and clothed. It made me realize how much the older kids in big families really do have to help. In my teeney-tiny family we didn't really know much about that because we're all practically the same age. But when I have my huge family :o) I'll have to try to remember to not overload the older ones...of course, they'll have to help but so will the little ones in their own way.

Anyway, sorry a little off course. Today someone is supposed to come to clean our carpet. Sarah picked up everything off the floor last night -- after I went to bed. So I felt kinda' bad for not helping. I got to help a little bit this morning because I ran our sad excuse for a vaccum. It picked up some stuff, but one of us REALLY needs to borrow our parents' vaccum and properly clean that apt...unless of course, the carpet cleaners do it.

Why am I not reading? F, Anne, does that not bother you anymore.

And finally, when are we going to decorate? I'm not sure yet. The Advent stuff is out. Starksie (like always) has plenty of schoolwork, so I don't know if she'll wait until after finals or if we'll do it some weekend soon...she hasn't told me yet. I can't wait though. Our place looked so lovely last year with that huge *cough*(fake) *cough* tree. But truly, the place was very Christmasy very inviting and I look forward to it lying around in such lovely decorations again.

Now I suppose I will atleast open the book and stare blankly at the pages or frantically skim through 100 pages attempting to absorb the information...
