(no subject)
Because of massive amounts of snow in Denver and thousands of cancelled flights.. for the first time in my life I won't be spending Christmas with my family.
This breaks my heart more than almost anything.. and really wasn't a good way to cap off this week, let alone this year.
I spent all day and all night trying to find a way around it, but unless I get struck with a miracle or I get on a bus today for a 40-44 hour bus ride, I won't be making it home. Flights are too expensive or nonexistent and Amtrak is booked solid.
Not really sure what I'm going to do.. I've had a few offers but nothing that I want to say yes to.
Special thanks to Bill for seeing me through this.. hundreds of baby puppy pictures were just what the doctor ordered, I think.
Wish I had a happier update.. maybe in a few days.
