I've been having to listen to my friend rave about The Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy this whole week. All this much-ado is making me want to pick it up again. I remember trying to read it in middle school, and then again in high school, but after the first few chapters, I always ended up tossing it aside thinking, "stupid British humor". But that was a long time ago, and I am a different person now. One thing about brit humor is that it's 10x funnier when you quote it than when actually watching it.
I made Kay watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang tonight after finding out she's never seen it. I myself haven't seen it in years. The part where Truly is up there pretending to be a mechanical doll will always be one of the coolest scenes in a film ever.
Then she made me watch some Pooh Bear episodes after finding out I've never seen any Pooh Bear animations, and just know him as some nostaliga craze. It was adorable, but nothing I'd go out of my way to see.
Today, I took the Calculus final from hell. Should have studied more.
Made chicken curry for dinner. It was so good to finally eat some Indian food after not having it so long.
