So Wednesday night I had this horrible pain in my stomach. It made it somewhat hard to sleep. Thursday night, while I was hanging out with Brent and Daniel, it came back. And it didn't go away. It made me feel bloated and stung in the middle between my ribs and through to my back. We went home around midnight and I couldn't sleep because it wasn't going away. About 2:30am Dan took me to the emergency room to get me checked out. They took tests and did an ultrasound on my stomach and we looked at my parts. It still hurt. Around 5am they determined that I had a stone in my gall bladder and that it had embedded itself into the walls of it. They said I could go home or get surgery to remove it. The decision was surgery and I was admitted into a room at 8am. By then they had stuff plugged into me and they were in and out taking my blood pressure and temp every half an hour. Come Noon they told me that they could actually take me in for surgery. I was scared out of my mind and was really really grateful that my Dan was there to talk to and calm me down. I forgot the name of the operation they did on me but what they did was make about for punctures in my stomach and removed my gall bladder though my belly button. It took about an hour. I went home at 8pm the same day. It is about two days later and everytime I move I can feel my insides move around as well. I feel like I am really old because I need help moving around and even reaching for stupid cups and stuff. They put me on some meds that make me really tired and drowsy. If I walk around too much then my collar bone starts really really hurting. If I burp just a little..then it hurts. I won't be at work for at least a week.
People have stopped by to say hello and they have called me to check up on me. kim came by with flowers while I was in the hospital and dad sent me some flowers through his company since he was kind of sick too. Mom was there by the time I was out of surgery. She has been really cool and great to help take care of me and let me use her room for a few days. I dunno, when I am sick..or in pain like this, I like to be at my moms house, surrounded by my family. I'm not sure why...
Both Grandmas have called and Frank, Risti and Marshall stopped to say hi with some flowers.
Flowers are nice. They make me smile.
Dan has been by my side as much as he can be. He has had to go into work but ya know..can't help that. I am so glad he is a trooper and has put up with me.
Anyways, That is what has been up folks. I am in a very uncomfortable state right now..
I am Gall Bladderless.
