Sera, and a little bit more
Well now. It's been some time. At Sera's doctor appointment back on May 5th, she weighed in at 8 lbs, 9 oz... she jumped from the 5th percentile to the 20th in weight, and from the 20th to the 25th in height. What a big girl she is becoming.
Now it is the start of June. At her last appointment the doctor gave eyedrops, because she had a secondary infection in her tearduct. It worked for a while, but once again it is starting to gunk up badly. I am pretty sure that girl is close to 10 lbs now though. She is still constipated badly, but we remember that Aya had the same problem (and still does really), so we aren't too concerned about that. We know it is a lack of fiber (Aya refuses veggies, and the baby can't eat them yet).
I will be making an appointment in the next week to see if we can get Sera a secondary treatment for her eye (since the previous isn't work and causing her to have a swollen eye and rash), as well as seeing if we can start her on juice (diluted prune juice).
I am back on a part time schedule at work...momma wasn't too reliable, so I thankfully worked it out... though now we are short on money. I will probably start picking up some extra hours in the evening, once they become available.
I do have pics of Sera. And of Aya holding Sera. They have been shared on IRC, but I can't remember how to do the stupid cuts and html crap for LJ. Anyone wanna tell me?
Anyways, 230 am... I'm tired, angry at Gryff and just wanna sleep, so that's what I'm gonna do. lol
