Fun at Conventions!

I don't post about conventions too terribly often, but some really cool things happened!
Fandomfest was in Louisville. It was an OK show, but gets into this post because John Borrowman came to my table! It was awesome! Sifu and I were just sitting at the table chatting when I looked up to see him casually approaching. Behind me was the print I'd given him a few months prior of Captain Jack Harkness. He said he remembered it, then told the people standing nearby, "Hey, buy that picture!" Sifu picked up his camera and asked if he could take a picture, to which Mr. Barrowman replied, "Yeah...just make it quick, I'm not supposed to be wandering around." This was probably the coolest thing that will ever happen to me.

Next was Boston Comic Con. I got to meed Scott Snyder, creator and writer for Batman Court of Owls and Talon. Nick got to travel with me, so it was a really nice trip. We listened to Welcome to Nightvale during the many hours of traveling from home to Boston and then to Chicago for Chicago Comic Con.

The first day of the show was just a preview day, so my friend and I cosplayed as Aziraphale and Crowley from Good Omens.

In Chicago, I got to meet Milo Ventimiglia of Gilmore Girls and Heroes. I've recently become a huge fan, so I was super excited. Nick sketched a quick picture of Milo as Peter Petrelli so I could get it signed. When I placed it on the table, Milo says, "This is awesome! Yeah, I'll definitely sign it! Can I take a picture of it so I can have it?" I told him if he really wanted it, he could have the original, since I could always get Nick to do something else for me. He was so nice about it and happily took the sketch, demanding that his handler, "get this girl a photo for me to sign!" I had him sign one of himself, Alexis Bledel, and Jared Padalecki posing against a fence. He then let me get a picture with him at the table. When I saw him later for the photo op, he recognized me! And when I later had my photo op signed, he remembered my name, which really made my day. He didn't have to be so nice. The next day, Nick decided that he'd like to say hello to him because he was flattered that Milo had liked his sketch so much. When we got to the table, he says, "Oh wow, this must be Nick! Hey there, Miss, how are you?" He then proceeded to chat with Nick for a few minutes. So very cool of him. :)

I also got to meet Summer Glau (signed a print of Bennet from Dollhouse and allowed payed pics at her table),

Allison Mack, Aaron Ashmore (who allowed free pics at his table),

Micheal Rosenbaum, Alan Tudyk (signed a print of Wash from Firefly), Zachary Quinto (signed a sketch of Sylar from Heroes), and Lou Ferrigno (who ate breakfast a couple of tables down from us each morning).
I haven't had a chance to scan in photo ops yet!
