the little one is doing great. growing up really fast. he's almost walking now. (he's 13 months). he's such a wonderful little fella. always laughing, always in a good mood, incredibly sweet and handsome, and he loves to cuddle. :)
the best news is that he's going to have a little brother or sister this year (approx August 14th), so that's really exciting!!
i haven't been on lj for a while, mostly because taking care of Yoran tends to take up a lot of time, and also because i can't use the computer too much because of my carpal tunnel syndrome.
so most of the times when yoran's asleep and my gf is working or shopping, i watch movies (of course i also watch movies with my gf.. :))
Yoran seems to have a weird taste in TV-shows. he doesn't like sesame street or the teletubbies. he prefers "the nanny" and "roseanne"... at least he's got a sense of humor... *lol*
Goodness! I can't believe he is that old. From the way you talk, it is very much evident that you are crazy about him... which is wonderful! I am happy for you.
And CONGRATULATIONS! Are you hoping for a little boy, or a little girl? I'm bugging my sister to have another kid (lol)... I love babies... everything about them (eh, aside from the diapers, of course).
*smile* Sounds like your little Yoran is a cool one. :) I think I'd be... relieved... if my child decided not to like Teletubbies. Something about them just doesn't set right with me.
But anyway, congrats again! And it was good hearing from you. Take care.
yeah, i really am crazy about yoran. i never knew that love could REALLY be unconditional, but it really can. even changing the diapers is not that big a deal anymore. :)
i'm kind of hoping our new baby is going to be a girl (the one-of-each cliché...), but it would be equally great if it's going to be a boy. two little rascals... :)
my favorite part about babies is how they can fall asleep lying on your chest, listening to your heartbeat. yoran is too old for that now. he wants space and lots of it. he wants to explore everything, doesn't want to sit still and gets angry when things don't go the way he wants. it's a lot of fun. we're not supposed to laugh when he does something he's not allowed to, especially when he looks at you and smiles his cute smile, because our laughter might be a reward for him. so sometimes we punish him and then sneak off to laugh secretly. :)
That reminds me of Kaeli (my niece). She is 2, and is going through the stage where she is always into mischief. When she gets in trouble, she'll get in my sister's face, pout, and say, "I sowwy, Mommy. I not bad dirl (girl), I a dood (good) dirl." Then she'll start CRACKING UP laughing, and it breaks my sister's defenses everytime. I always have to get up and leave the room when she's getting scolded, because she's so damn funny, and I can't help but laugh.
Well, I hope that no matter what gender your baby is, that it is born perfectly healthy and will bring you all as much happiness as Yoran has. :)
