So now starts my quest for a new job...not that I have quit my current one...yet...anyone have a suggestion? Do I want to keep working in retail? No, but what else is there really before a degree? I could try something else...maybe just apply everywhere that appears to be hiring. The point is I need a new job and quickly...like before the end of this month, or I may go insane. Maybe they could just transfer me to another store...
Tomorrow night is the SAIC BFA show at 429 Jackson and my little brother has a recording of his voice inside of some large pottery, or something like that...I have not seen the piece yet, but I am excited to do so. Everyone should go see it, I am sure it is fabulous.
After that I am going to a, dare I say, ska show in Pilsen. Not that I want to see some shitty ska en espanol bands, but I do want to see my friend's band play that is not ska and is actually very good. Speaking of ska...how great is it that Reel Big Fish played a free show in Mt. Pleasant and they are all a bunch of coke heads? How is ska even still around?
