I am graduating in 2 weeks.
My best friend Chris is coming to see me 2 days before graduation and will stay here til 2 days after graduation. I'm super excited ^_^
I just gotta get through the last 2 papers EDIT: plus final exam for ENG 518 and final for ENG 321 and an extra paper I didn't do for ENG 422C yet ... death. Death!
Will stay in town working for Amy til I can get myself a good job in Japan. Since JET fell through, I have to look for other resources. At least I'll have time after I finish school to focus on that. And work ... work work work.
Hopefully will get a new computer around graduation. Not having a functioning machine for 2 months is rough. Though, I spent longer than that without my laptop working while I was in Japan. That was a pain. Like I said before, technology seems to hate me. In other news, my iPod seems to have gone MIA. Guess it wanted a vacation. /grumble/
For the record, I saw Infected Mushroom a couple weeks ago down at the Marquee ... it was so ridiculously awesome. I danced my butt off for 4.5 hours to some of the best trance/psytrance I've ever heard. Wore my purdy 3.5" heeled strappy shoes, danced with a random guy around the beginning, had a good 4 or 5 drinks (shh don't tell Mom; she lectured me for going to the concert period because it involved spending recreational money /sigh/), got blisters on the bottoms of my feet ... totally worth all of it. I've been itching to go again. Too bad money needs to happen first. Bleh.
Life will definitely be interesting after I graduate. I will have to make some decisions if things in Japan don't work out ... but I'm not even thinking along the lines that they won't. I have too many friends at this point to count, so I imagine at least several of them can help me if need be. I love their hospitality. And speaking of friends ... it's coming time for all the exchange students to go back home. My Asian posse is leaving ... that means some 30-50 people, which really sucks :( If I stay here long enough before going back to Japan, I may try to get in contact with some of the new students next semester and during the summer even though I won't be in school anymore.
Less than 4 months and I'm 27. Can't even believe it. Think I said that last year when I realized I was going to be 26. Where does the effing time go ... can't believe it was 2 years ago (almost) when I left the US for over a year. Can't believe it has been 2 years since I saw China for the first time. Too many things ... definitely must go back there. Need to brush up big time on my Chinese first >_<
Oh I can't wait to go back to Japaaaaaan! It is calling me ... calling me back to my hooooome!
