What a weekend...
Wow, I actually got to relax this weekend. I gave the house a thorough scrubbing from top to bottom and now it smells like a hotel (which is not a bad thing at all, mind). I also had time to just hang out and chat wif me friends and see some movies I'd been wanting to see.
The Punisher - Wow. Cool. A completely un-redemable hero who goes out and shoots people because he is deeply angry. And the guy who plays him has really, really, ridiculously muscular shoulders.
Kill Bill Volume 2 - Hm. Go Quentin! You made a movie that elicited an emotional responce from me, that's a first. Yay also for Uma Thurman, she should totally win some kind of award, at least for crying like 9 times in the same movie.
The Ladykillers - Tom Hanks rocks my freakin' frock off. He's so great ^_^ I loved this movie thoroughly and give a big hats off to the writer/directors. You guys managed to make yet another really freakin' great movie. Yay for you! The ending was mildly depressing but...well, I guess I didn't expect it.
Anywho, it was nice to just take some time off.
In other news: I'M GOING TO FRANCE!!!!! Kenya believe it? James' parents are going to this farm in Normandy and they invited James and I to come along! It's gonna be so incredibly great! I've never been to Europe before and I'm going to get to go for a whole goddamned week. I'm so excited you have no idea. Now I just have to get my passport before May 22...and my birth certificate (which has gone missing mysteriously) in the next three days...Well, I'll do my best. *hopes and prays* Man, France is gonna be so incredibly awesome. I shall send everyone postcards and French pastries (provided they Fed Ex properly otherwise you might just get a box of crumbs. But they'll be yummy crumbs!)
Anywho, I'm off to bed. Sleep, she calls to me.
P.S. Poodlebum I'm sorry I didn't catch up with you in the evening. I hope you had a good time with your friend, I was thinking of you ^_^ We'll catch up with our wayward characters sometime later in the week. Luff you!
