Piss On Everything Tomorrow's Saturday
The funny thing is that it was this totally sweet older woman who taught that to me. First I was shocked, then I was awed and then I practically fell over laughing.
I finally got all my work projects completed today. The big project is over as of this afternoon and all the other little things that I was doing are finished as well (thus why I am updating my LJ instead of finding something else to do). This whole week has been so busy that it's strange not to have anything to do - or anything pressing to do, anyway.
I think I might write some Butterfly Wings and Useless things later on if things keep up at this pace. I had this one scene I really wanted to write last night, but I didn't have time between work and going to see my Mommy. So maybe I'll try and get that out later...we'll see.
I've not done well with my resolution of writing more often than I used to. Mostly when I get home all I want to do is fall over and sleep, watch TV or read my book. Even though I get all excited about my stories and poems my entusiasm sort of leaves me as soon as I get to a place where I could write. Like, I can suddenly think of a hundred things that I should/could be doing that are more productive than whoring Tim out all over the place. And as a result it's been quite a while since I've actually worked on anything.
The women sitting on the other side of the cubicle wall from me are talking about pet snakes and this one lady just said, "The problem I have with snakes is what you have to feed them...If there was only rabbit-flavored snake chow I wouldn't have such an issue."
*snicker* Rabbit-flavored...
