Bored
So, I've had a pretty good weekend. Friday night I babysat till about 1:30 AM, but I got paid pretty nicely. I went to the boyfriend's apartment right after babysitting and got there about 2:30ish AM and went straight to bed...kinda...but sleep did happen.
Saturday- hung around the apt. Mingled with Erin and Brian. Then went to dinner with Roberto to his parents house. It's a little awkward being there b.c i dont speak fluent spanish so, I only pick up on bits and pieces of the convos, but when they want to include me they talk to me in english. I mostly sit, smile and space out. After dinner we went back to the apt. Erin and Brian were going out for ice cream and asked if we wanted to go, but we were still full from dinner. We were all talking in the living room where I was trying to ask Roberto where did he want me to put his hat, but I couldnt get his attention so, I just kept saying "Where do you want it?" Oops... He looked at me and began counting...I had to the count of three to avoid being pounced on. I ran to try to hide, but by three his shirt was off and i was being tackled. :) So, a wee bit later a shower was had and we settled down so he could do his taxes and I could read "The bood of Joby". BTW I would recommend reading this book! (me the non-reader!)
Sunday- Woke up to an empty apartment. Kinda scary and quiet, but I had to get ready to go to brunch with John (my bro) and our friend Andie. We were just going down the street to a place called Broadway Cellar. We had $10 all you can drink Mimosas. The food was pretty good. I think I would go back again. Then after brunch we went and saw a play called "Saint Scarlet". Its about an Irish family in Minnesota dealing with family drama. I really enjoyed the play. One of John's employees was in the play and he was really good in it. After the play there was some small foods shopping and then I got dropped of at the apartment. It was still empty, but that was fine b.c i watched love actually. Berto came back from work/parents house and we cuddled for a bit on the couch while watching the movie. Erin and Brian came back and we all just kinda kept doing our own things. I watch Fun with Dick and Jane while Berto did whatever 1000 things he has to do. That's pretty much the night. Went home Monday. Yeaha! I've also applied for 2 jobs! So, hopefully I will hear back from them!
