Keep moving, don't let them touch you, or even near you.

Landmarks? I can get you away from them at least.

DAN! I'm so glad to see you!

Get me home, please, I'm near a weird... carousel. And get me mineral water please, my throat's dry.

... Erm, unfortunately my name isn't Dan and 'home' isn't a place that the people here get to go to so easily.

But Carousel, got it. I can be there in a moment, at any rate.

[ooc: Want him to pick her up?~ *mean to him forever.*]

It's a minute and a half that finds him there, bundled up and tired but passable. He Apparated far enough away so that he could jog to where she is - no need freaking anyone out more than they already are first thing - but he pauses, near enough to be visible. There don't seem to be any shambling undead in their direct vicinity, at least - and it's nearing midnight. Perhaps it will end soon.

"It's Regulus Black, actually."

Blair, with eyes bleary from crying, was hiding behind a bench. When she heard his voice, she quickly stood up and straightened herself, trying to regain a shred of dignity.

"Dan," she insisted with a croaky voice. "Get me home!"

He debates, briefly, if pretending to actually be this 'Dan' fellow would make her feel better and not cause him any problems. Belatedly however, he decides not to and just shakes his head a little. Maybe his accent will help him a little.

"I don't know how to get you home. No one does. But I can make sure you're safe. I can explain later."

He's not going to Apparate her either, not like this. "I'm going to need to run. Mind if I carry you? It'll be faster."

Blair makes a disgusted face at hearing him speak. "Does Serena actually think that's sexy?"

She leaned back a little, crossing her arms in front of her. "You're not carrying me. Just because you're better than the zombies doesn't mean you're good enough for me." A distant shriek made her whip her head around in worry, but she stared him down adamantly. "You're not even touching me."

Right. He's a good person, Regulus Black. He can deal with this. "I don't know who Serena is. Like I said, not the bloke you're looking for."

A pause as he looks back at her impassively. "Then I would suggest beginning to run in that -" He points, helpfully, in the direction that building 12 lays - "direction so that I can make sure none of them decide to make you a snack."

She let out a frustrated sigh. She was still unsure of whether or not any of this is real. It felt like a bad dream. "Whatever."

Another shriek is heard, not so distant now, and Blair swallowed her saliva in fear. She felt like bolting for her life, but she threw both of her Loubotins in the direction of the zombies, and her feet were sore. "Fine. Carry me," she relented, worry etched on her face. "But watch your hands."

"Right then." He rolls his eyes - as if he's not a gentleman - and grabs her up in his arms, bridal style, as hilarious as that may be but it's innocent enough and he runs, because he is, funnily enough, an athlete.

He only slows once they're inside the building and in the lift going up, setting her down and slumping against the wall of the thing to breathe. "Got a right awful time to pop in, you did."

She let out a surprised gasp when he lifted her up, but she stayed quiet and simply held on tight. It occurred to her that Lonely Boy could not possibly run so fast.

Once set down, Blair straightened her outfit again, checking her headband in the mirror inside the lift. She noticed that her eyes were still swollen and frowned. She threw him a glance from the corner of her eyes, "who're you and what did you do to Humphrey?"

He's caught his breath by now (funny, he doesn't need to but he figures all along that she'll get weirded out if she notices that he's not breathing) and tilts his head back.

"Like I've said from the beginning, I'm not Humphrey. My name is Regulus Black. I'm from England, and while I've heard of people having look-alikes here, it's never happened to me before."

Blair continued to preen herself in front of the mirror, fixing a bow there, a sleeve here, a strand of hair. It kept her mind off of things. She barely gave him another glance, but she was listening.

"What should I call you?"
