Hmm. I think the question is do you really need that. I'm 35, single with three kids, and I really have nothing but a long line of failed relationships to look back on. I've been mostly single off and on for over three years now, with one regrettable year long fiasco, that wasn't a relationship, but it wasn't being single either.

I've found for the most part, that I don't even care about the sex. I just like snuggling. I actually have a couple of people that fill that role for me and its pretty ok.

I'm anti relationship (personally) so take anything I say with a grain of salt, but personally, the whole business makes my skin crawl. I see my friends go through the stages. Crazy mad in love, Content, Not So Content, Marriage, Mostly in Love, Not so in love, Divorced. Lather Rinse and Repeat.

Something like 65% of all marriages end in divorce. Me, personally. I'm happier than I've ever been with a stable of friends that make sitcoms on NBC look trite (oh wait, they are). Lovers are easy to find. Friends are the family you pick yourself. In most cases, its also the only kind of relationship that doesn't have a messy break up waiting for it eventually.

Life is short and you spend most of your time with yourself. Are you the one you should be most happy with?
