(no subject)
So, i'm in AZ right now and I'm leaving tomorrow. This is my second time back since I moved in feb and it really throws me off. When I visit here, I feel like I can no longer identify with the state since it's no longer "home". I love spending time with my family and everything, so I'm not denying that, but it's like I don't belong here.
Then I go back to minneapolis, and I kind of feel the same way. I wasn't born there, i'm not a native, I don't "get it" like the rest of them do. It doesn't feel like "home" either.
I guess I'm going through this weird "home identity crisis". I don't feel like I belong anywhere.
Anyway, it's been really nice here, though. I've shopped a lot and I've been making up for lost time like no other. I'm exhausted and so is my bank account. I'll need to go into severe budget mode soon....that is, after I get my christmas shopping done.
