* Still no pics of my house. It's been an awfully slow process of finding new pieces to work in this place. I'm picking up a large wall shelf tomorrow, though. I'll be happy about that.

* Work is going well. I skipped out on the Gala last night because I just didn't feel like getting fancy. Thankfully, Aaron was okay with that. We stayed in and watched WIZARD PEOPLE! (hilarious "book on tape" of harry potter and the sorcerer's stone over the movie).

* I've been buying a lot of stuff on ebay. A lot. I've gotten several Classic Hardware pieces, Sailor Moon Manga (only two left I need) and DVDs (I now have the whole series!!!!), a butter bell (the most amazing thing ever), a large scoby so now I can brew kombucha properly, japanese cosmetics, the original three "art of star wars" books, and "The Art of NANA" book.

* Notice a trend? Ugh. I feel like I'm kinda compensating for all the stuff i wanted as a little kid. Now that I'm making decent money, I'm buying stupid crap. I suspect that this will calm down soon, but I'm having fun.

* OH, I got a really nice Soia & Kyo down coat for the winter. It's super cute. I got it for a steal - it was originally like $400, and I got it for $170.

* I joined Curves! This last week has been hectic, so I've only been twice, but I can't wait to get into a great routine. All this going out since I moved here has caught up with me. I feel unhealthy and gross. I'm also going through a detox program right now. So far, I'm feeling somewhat better, but once I get working out more often, I know i'll feel great.

* BIG NEWS. Yesterday, I took a huge step in my life. So, I work at a university. We get free tuition. I've been putzing around with the idea of *finally* getting my bachelor's...So I called up one of our enrollment counselors. We discussed all my options. I'm going to submit my final application this weekend.

* I'm finally cooking again. It feels so good! I really couldn't cook in my old loft since the ventilation was so bad (illegal, even) and the smoke alarm would go off every time. I think I'm going to make some bibingka today. yay!

Okay, I have a *few* photos I'll share....

The first dusting of snow last month

This is the view right by my desk. So pretty!

Sorry for the bad pic. It was raining out but it was really pretty. This is the view from my floor's lunch room.
