Hello guys. Happy Mother's Day to everyone's mothers, firstly! I hope everyone who was forced to spend the day with extended family like I was didn't come out too traumatized. My extended family is only 10 people (those we see more than once a decade, anyway) including myself so I just spent today playing waitress and serving out the food Mum made. We had mini potato pot pies with cheese on top with roasted pumpkin, parsnip and eggplant and fresh bread. And it was delicious, let me tell you. I got my mum a Garth Brooks DVD set and a little Clinique set, and my dad got her a whole new set of plates so she's happy now. How was everyone else's days?
I have had a lot of random stuff accumulating, so here we go kidlets:
- If you're bored and want some music/video catered to your tastes, you can go to this awesome site and enter your Last.FM username or a band you like, and it will play you a video stream of musical vids related to your tastes. It's awesome and it's dead accurate, too, even for obscure indie stuff. It's like my new favourite thing.
- A picspam of the Twilight trailer with quotes from the book that made me realize I like the cinematography or the trailer more than anything. I like how the colours work with each other, that Bella wears warm colours and Edward cool, and how blue and cold everything is. It's going to be one of those winter movies, I bet. And Kristin Stewart is gorgeous!
- Speaking of, the official movie site is now up with some really pretty promo wallpapers. I'm getting more into this movie with every new thing I see from it. It's all so pretty! It's getting to me!
- Losties: there is a really wonderful, insightful review of 4x01 over here. And I agree with it so much.

Oh and I also wanted to say, I was up early on Thursday-ish and totally caught an interview with Nathan Fillion on one of those horrible breakfast talk shows on TV, since he's down here for cons in Syd and Melb. Of course they spoke to him for the entire time about his role in Desperate Housewives, BUT. He ended the interview by saying he was here for the cons because "I'm actually a space captain in another series that's gone to film". Gone to film, not has been made into a film. It was as though he was implying the rumoured Serenity 2 could go ahead. WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME ;D
