Comment and I'll pick seven of your icons, and then you will explain why you love/are using the icon (who doesn't love talking about their icons, seriously) and then post your explanation/this meme in your journal for other people to squee about their icons, and basically it will be a huge squeefest of love and 100x100 square pixels.

Firstly, I jsut wanna say I started icon making prior to joining LJ, and when I did join and did the whole free-account-with-6-icons thing, I had one icon per fandom so I'd always be relevant or whatever. Nowadays, I still keep that up and always have one or more icons for each fandom I talk about in my entries.
So.
sga-this is the hard road ::blimey_icons
Token Stargate Atlantis icon. I don't have a lot of SGA fans on my f-list so I usually only keep one SGA icon handy, and most of the ones I've uploaded have been McKay/Sheppard since not only is it the biggest ship by far in the SGA verse, it's so obvious it's almost canon. This one just has really nice composition and subdued colours. I also use it as am "I'm lost" icon or when I'm commenting on something complex or vast.

I found this pic when I was google-image-searching Futurama for something and it made me LOL. It's what I use when something actually warrents applause, when someone is (trying to be) funny, or when something makes me go "..." and you know an audience is all "....*cough*" in relation to it. It's the look on his face that makes this icon.

Token House Emm Dee icon. Wilson/Cameron is one of my favourite little guilty pleasure pairings on this show, since I'm also a House/Wilson shipper. This scene is a favourite among Wilson/Cam people, because despite the fact they're talking about House it comes across really well in icons and vids, and there's no real explanation or reason as to why they're walking at night through the car park - they just are, like they do it every day. The pink/orange added to the top of this icon made me love it. I really only use it, I think, when posting/commenting in relation to House, although sometimes I break it out for anything cosy and romantic.

Supernatural is a show I don't watch and am not technically a fan of, but practically every third fandom LJer you meet is and so I try and keep a SPN icon in my repertoire. I will say that's it's a very artistically pretty show and this scene is one of the prettiest. I don't use it much, however. I only use it I'm commenting in relation to SPN, which isn't often. It's just sort of there, LOL.

Token Grey's Anatomy icon. I loved Grey's Ahatomy in it's early season one days, and through msot of season two as well. There were a small amount of season three eps that I thought were fantastic but nowadays it's just gone. It's just flatlined, honestly. Izzy was always my favourite character, but now that she's in love with George so relatively soon after Denny's death, she's lost me. Whenever I watch season one I fall in love with Meredith and Derek again but now they've been meandering aobut for so long, and as soon as she hooked up with Finn, she lost me. I don't get how a show that started so well could get so lost. Anyway, I'm still not sure if the composition on this icon works, but I always have a good old season one or two Grey's icon up and this is one of my favourites I've made.

DANNYYYYY. K, so, this is my token Without A Trace icon, which is one of those shows I love so much that unfortunately doesn't have as big a fanbase as it deserves. It's non 100x100 too, as I always try to have one 'little' icon up in case I'm doing a short entry and don't want a full icon clogging up my layout (on my old layout, in particular, the whole page would get messed up if I used a 100px icon for a short entry, which is why I grabbed this one). And Danny Taylor has always, always been my favourite WAT character. I use this one when something grabs my attention or is just a little interesting, or it made me think and I'm all "hmm" about it.
In other things, a couple of vids from the Alan Tudyk panel I attended have popped up on Youtube: talking about the possible Serenity sequel, a prank Nathan played on him, and his nude scenes in Death of A Funeral (which was the most loltastic question: "Was it really you and if so, can we have proof of that?" LOL). I was on the end of the second row, far right, so the back of my head unfortunately does not appear in these clips.
I'm actually thinking Zac Efron looks kind of hot in these pics, which I hope scares you as much as it scares me.
Also, is anyone else thinking this new Star Trek movie is going to be a disaster? LOLLL.
