BON JOVI TICKETS ACQUIRED!
I got in on the Ticketmaster presale and got some halfway decent Gold tickets on the second level for the Melbourne show! I was lucky because when I searched for best available the first two times, it was only giving me Silver seats, until I managed to fluke a pair of Golds. (I think someone was holding them but waited too long and then they got rereleased). I was aiming for Platinum tickets but let's be honest, there weren't a lot of them, so I'm happy with the tickets I got :DDD The bonus is that they were considerably less than Platinum tickets, so I'm not even broke. I might still be able to purchase cheap seats to the Auckland show, once Mum and I have flights booked!
Also, can I just say: there have been a lot of people bitching the the past few years about Jovi overpricing their tickets and showing favouritism to their paid fan club. For the record, while yes, the best seats in the house are paid fan club seats, you can get floor/grass tickets to any of their Aussie shows for as little as $200 and the cheapest seats are only $100. That's normal pricing and yet people are still bitching. I mean, geez man. Jovi were literally giving away seats at their London shows for free and waving credit card fees on their US shows, they're learning!
I'm also actually not feeling too scared about an imminent retirement, either. While Jovi made a big deal of this tour being three years long, when you look at the tour schedule you see it's only so long because breaks are built in to allow the boys to relax. Besides, sugars ain't going down without a proper greatest hits. So this is awesome :D
