Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them here, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.
Anthony Quinn: Newcastle Knights winger, and a hot one at that. His work on the wing is brilliance, sheer brilliance, and have especially enjoyed his switch to the left wing which meant that he was on my side of the stadium last week - Go Quinnie! Now I need to explain this before I go any further, I felt like adding all the Knights players names as interests last year just because they all rock my world so damn much, hence this list will be predominantly Knights players and therefore rather uninteresting if you don't like football or aren't interested in hearing more about my rants on football and football players alike, but deal.
Clint Newton: Oh so sexy Knights forward, was dating Jennifer Hawkins (Miss Universe), don't know how that ended exactly but I spose it sucks for him that it ended. Ah well, her loss...
Danny Buderus: No surprises for what his occupation is!?! Brilliant Newcastle hooker, and regarded as the best hooker in the game, won Dally M medal last year so deservedly, can they take that award out of Newcastle's borders do you think? Meanwhile, refer to photo of much love, best day of my life when I got those photos taken. Such a nice guy too... Fi and Mary decided that they wanted to convince him to propose to me, but oddly enough that didn't happen, gee i wonder why??? Mum also thinks we'd make a cute couple, someone quick with a bucket before I spew! Since when does everyone like to try and plan my love life? At least be helpful and realistic please!
Kurt Gidley: Brilliant player, supposedly going to take over from Joey as halfback when he retires, which is still likely, but I'm betting on the young guns Brad Tighe, Milton Thaiday and Jarrod Mullen being the great inspirational players of the club - god they're good, but yes, Kurt still rocks my world as all Knights players do.
Matt Gidley: Brother of the aforementioned Kurt. Great centre, has played at Origin level and International level, and might I add particularly excelled in Origin especially with old partner in crime Timana Tahu on the wing (wait while I cry about his departure to the eels), but go Matt Gidley, come back from injury next year and rock all our novocastrian worlds!
Millsy: The first (and only i think) non-football personality on my list, yes I loved Australian Idol series one, and yes, I loved Millsy, and yes I cried when he got voted off, and yes i (shamefully) bought his album. But he's so cute and funny. Kill that stupid stooged show he tried to host though, and trust me, "try" is the operative word there. (No relation to the tries scored in footy there intended, I've managed to put footy into the explanation of something entirely unrelated to footy now, omg, maybe I have a problem, maybe I'm obsessed, just maybe... I mean he doesn't even like NRL he's an AFL supporter - oh just shut up Kristy quit while your ahead behind!)
NRL Footy Show: I don't know if I need to explain this one, but here goes. It has Matty Johns on it, oh yeah, Matty Johns. And the thunder chief, and everyone loves Sterlo. Was great when Matt was hosting it because Fatty was... "unavailable", but we all love the Fat, and the Fat is back now! Go the Footy Show and my reliable Thursday night entertainment!
Rugby League: This probably needs the least explaining of all, I love Rugby League, I love the NSW Blues, I love the Newcastle Knights and all affiliations with said teams/sports. I seriously think I'd die if I had to go live in the US with an incredible lack of league, at least the UK has a crappy knock off super league, but if I had to live any further away from Marathon Stadium then I do now, I think I'd die.
There, now that wasn't so hard, was it... going to bed now, no doubt to dream of football and a role reversal of the eels and the knights at the moment. That minor (and major) premiership is ours next year - all ours I'm telling you, muahahahaha! Then see how the bloody broncos or bulldogs can cope with the splintering handle of the dreaded spoon next year! Ha!
