Reached THE Goal in TWO Weeks!

So last night after a day of shopping in SF, dinner at home and after watching Kung Fu Panda, I made my way to the gym.

I was finally able to run 2.5 miles continuously! That is an amazing feat for someone who used to dislike running. Wow! Can we all just say wow! I'm one of those people who uses a towel to cover the led screen, just keep on running, listening to gym music, repeating to myself....just listen to another song, and another and next thing you know, 29 minutes of consecutive running went by. You should have seen my face. My smile was humongous. =D

I am so proud of myself. My next goal: 3 miles consecutively before Cancun.

FYI: I run at a speed of 5.5mi/hr. 6.0 is a bit too fast for me.

Also, they had a sign at the gym show casing the percentage of body fat for women and men, I fall within borderline acceptable range since my body fat is around 29%. UGH! To be considered fit, I would need like low twenties and to be an athlete is around 15% or something like that.

Shopping: I got a new Wusthof Culinar 5" boning knife, Wusthof classic 3.5" paring knife, the Wusthof Gourmet Utility set, a Calaphon Roasting rack and a Taylor thermometer.
