Friends from Italy and Cheesecake Factory
Yesterday at work, I received a phone call from W for me not to cook dinner because we were going out to eat with his friends Weyland and Crystal. They are old college buddies and ex coworkers of his that moved to Aviano, Italy since Wey is in service.
We picked them up from their hotel, the Pickwick?, drove to Wey's parents house to grab some keys and then we went back to Union Square and had dinner at the Cheesecake factory. It was crazy busy and crowded when we arrived after 9 PM. I ordered the meatloaf and it was good though a bit salty but the vegetables were awesome. W ordered the Diane Steak and it was blah. It didn't like it much since it was so chewy. For dessert we had the white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake. It's one of my favorites and oh so good!
What sucked was that they paid for dinner! Shame on us. They are visiting and we're suppose to be paying, not them!
Hopefully, we'll see them again before they fly back to Italy.
