Big Day Out
Twas a great day yesterday. Am still very tired and worn out but it was all totally worth it. The Subways were the best. The best fucking band ever! Twas really fun being part of the crowd that loved them as much as I. Oooh Im almost orgasming just thinking about them. I loved how into the music Billy Lunn was. All that corwd surfing and microphone kicking. Very hot.
Since I had never actually heard of Wolf and Cub before, I was a bit meh about them but they were still enjoyable. The Greenhornes were really good. Ooh and andy and i saw the grates!! When walking back fromt he merch. God i love that girl! Hottest dancing ever! haha and we heard 'trampoline' YAY!
It was great to see Sarah live but i dont think she really fit the whole Big Day Out scene...all the other bands we more rocky. It was quite entertaining watching her dancing too! She dances like my grandma!!! scarey shit. We saw like one songs worth of End of Fashion and was bored to death so we left and had a look at The Magic Nummbers. They sound great but i didnt find them very entertaining and hard to look at. haha It was there that i saw my uncle with his fiance! Talk about trying to be young.
So thats all we saw on the smaller stages. We moved over to the blue stage where Kings of Leon were playing. Andy and i were pretty tired by then and we couldnt be bothered standing so we sat over by th blue fence and just listened to them. When KOL were done we moved into the Franz mosh pit. Then we realised we still had like an hour till they started. So we were stuck listening to The Living End. God damn they were so freaking loud and I can only really stand them in small doses so that was the longet wait of my life.
But then Franz came on and they were really good. I found them really hot (except for the bass player)Hmmm and asfter that we met back up with Cam (he spent a lot of the day with a girl he met there) and he wanted to go home but andy and I wanted to see the White Stripes so after convincing Cam we went over to The White Stripes and then only stayed for like two songs but i still liked it.
So my mumma picked us up and after stopping off at dewsons for some food she dropped us off at Andys house where we stayed the night. Had a Southern comfort and Pepsi which was very satisfying :D We didnt eat much of the food but eh. So we got to sleep at about 1 or 2 or something dont really know and then after a pretty sleepless night got up at about 8:45 to walk Cam to the Bus stop. After having a chat with the Andy came home.
