Autumn has arrived...

Have I mentioned that fall is so beautiful in Switzerland? I am loving this season here. Scarves everyday, fall breezes, hot tea in the afternoons...

Yesterday we went to Geneva to go to a concert (Ben Harper!) and that train ride is so enjoyable...it's gorgeous scenery the whole way, just vineyards, mountains, and lakeside. The company was not too bad, either. I can't help but enjoy the company of this particular Swiss German.

Tonight was definitely nice as well, finally a laid back night at home...the first in awhile. Lauren and I just cooked a mighty delicious dinner (I'm finally falling in love with Swiss cheese!!!!!) and Cora came up to Falaises and we all watched a movie and ate the remains of the Haribo stashes.

Tomorrow is laundry day (yaaaay!) and then Monday we have orientation for French class (I'm taking grammar and maybe a street French class, how cool is that? And since we choose the classes instead of being placed, I get to be with my friends). Also I think my Irish friend Lisa is going to take German with me as well, and I'm not sure when that orientation is. The English major one is on Tuesday which I am SO happy about, and I still don't know the first day of class, I am assuming the next monday...but they will tell me on Tuesday. And Thursday is the first meeting of the school choir, which Cora and I will join, yay! I'd also like to join the film club, if I have time.

On a sidenote, I got a new mobile phone with the company Orange because it is much less inexpensive than my pay as you go phone. I can share the number if anyone is interested.
Well, I'm going to go to bed now...
