I am counting the days! I have a month left in sunny Melbourne before I get to Winterland - that is Canada! of all things.. i played spin the bottle at glasshouse on saturday night in a drunken state, i guess i never really got to do it in high school so now i can say i have. i actually remember the girls' names so perhaps i wasn't as drunk as i was making out.

i'm going to belgrave to see magic dirt play. but it's such a nice night

i am very excited about my musical exploits. even if this band is completely trashy and imperfect i know we have a lot of power to the songs even at this minimalist level, and i think we're going to go off! i just want to be up playing! i don't care, it's just fun anyway.

I love the song 'rollercoaster'! by Sleater-Kinney. I'm getting more and more into The Woods now. I can't wait to see them at Big Day Out. And it turns out Ember Swift IS coming to Australia in January. It's a very exciting time, only five months till I go travelling.
