Update: Life.

Because my life makes more sense when viewed in bullet points.
  • Happy I have no classes tomorrow. I love you, Rally Day.
  • Also happy because tomorrow means I can catch up on homework. I played way too much this weekend (and embarked on a little bit of a spending binge on tea, wine, earrings, and books that we're not going to talk about), which was wonderful (mall! Road trip to Vermont, where found the most wonderful tea place ever, and lots of used bookstores! Lots of wine! Lots of cheese! Lots of fun!), but I paid dearly for it yesterday, when I had a slight stress attack realizing all the work I had to do for my Seminar.
  • Fortunately, I buckled down and got shit done, and now I am less stressed.
  • I finalized my semester-long research paper for my Seminar, and I'm incredibly happy because I found a way to incorporate Jane Austen into it. Went to the library tonight, and checked out fifteen books to start my preliminary bibliography, which is due Friday. Le sigh. One day at a time, and least I'm doing a topic I love.
  • INTERNSHIPS. GOT TO GET THAT STUFF DONE. END OF STORY.
  • Vanilla bean tea makes everything better. (Will drink lots of it when working on bibliography and internship applications).
  • I have to figure out what I'm doing for spring break. It's crazy to think that it's only two and a half weeks away. I really want to go on an adventure with Megan (Montreal? DC? Minnesota? Seattle? Clearly, we are all over the place), or visit my high school friend Alex in Florida (beach!!), but I'm so up in the air right now. I'm not a big fan of the "going home" thing right now, because as much I'd like to see my mom in some ways, and sleep in my own bed, I know I'd get horribly bored after the first two days, especially because Rachel won't be there. So, I think adventures are a better life plan, despite being a slightly sketchier one. :P
  • Okay. Less stressed, which is good. Feel like a slightly better student, which is also good. No class tomorrow, which is wonderful.
  • Now, to watch Buffy. I haven't seen an episode in two weeks, and I miss my Scooby Gang. Especially Xander and Spike.

holy crap i have a fuckton of work., school, life., classes, jane austen, ramblings, tea solves all problems
