I went out to lunch with my friend Javier today. I haven't seen him in a long time, and I found out that it was because he's been in Senegal and Gambia for two months. Lol I had no idea. He was doing a missions trip for some Christian college thing, and while I don't really approve of going around converting people, everyone I know from that school is just so nice.
He said he had a great time, and he brought me a hand-carved tribal mask.
But yeah, we went to this little cafe on the Lakeshore and talked. I had the most amazing organic red pepper and tomato soup mmmm.
He's headed back to Mexico on Tuesday, so I don't know when I'll see him again. He's so adorable I wish he'd stay forever ;__;
