Drama Lists

 Hi Internets,

I'm back at school now *grumble grumble*, so I won't be watching my dramas with as much voracity as I have been recently. I'm currently two episodes away from the end of バテンダ (Bartender), so I'll have a summary of that up in the next few days. But for the moment, here is a list of dramas I have already watched/have started watching. If anyone has any recommendations, let me know ^_^

Series Completed:

• Nodame Cantabile (J-Drama)
• Yamada Tarou Monogatari (J-Drama)
• Personal Preference (K-Drama)
• Goong (K-Drama)
• Devil Beside You (TW-Drama)

Series Incomplete:

• Lunch Queen (J-Drama)
• Bartender (J-Drama

Series to Watch

• Life is Beautiful (K-Drama)
• Brown Sugar Macchiato (TW-Drama)
• Absolute Boyfriend (J-Drama)

I'd like to focus mostly on K- and J-Drama because I plan to go travelling around Japan and Korea next year. However, Devil Beside You is the only drama I've watched so far with a kiss by the second episode! OMG. Compared to the other dramas, it seemed indecent! I guess I've been away from sub-par American drama long enough (I'm looking at you - The OC and Gossip Girl) where they kiss/sleep together every episode, that I like the tension that comes from Asian Drama. I like having to wait five to ten episodes to see if they're going to kiss and under what circumstances they have their first kiss ^_^ However, I think Goong took it a bit too far, especially with the absurdly-jumping-the-gun ending... But I'll leave that for a review.

So, I'm off to watch the last episodes of Bartender. I'll report back with details ^_^
