Yes, he finally asked me out ;)
Well, it’s official….
Mike asked me to be his girlfriend tonight, and I said yes…
While the actual conversation was rather nervous and slightly awkward, the intent and actual feeling behind the words was genuine and sweet ;)
We’d had a conversation Friday night after the day’s activities about how we felt, which was mostly a compliment-fest on both sides, but with the ultimate point being that he felt like he needed a little more time to consider and pray… And I felt that was a totally wise thing to do.
However, I had no idea how much time he was needing, so I pretty much just didn’t think about it, and knew it would come up again at some point.
So, long story short, we hung out tonight at his parents’ place, just watched some movies and chilled. Then when I was about to leave, he decided to walk me to my car, and that’s when he asked me out.
