Pinky-Street.com Singapore gathering!
I won't say who's there, because I hardly know their names. I can only remember Pinkyboi, SJ, Taesake, Singer High (on SGC), Akane. And Akane's friends... right? right? 8D
And the venue was... VIVOCITY. How many times can I go there in a month? Many!
Anyway, we went to Coffee Bean, chatted over coffee. Akane's friend brought her Blythe, and it became our coffee topic for a while. Then Akane brought out her Pullip and it became our coffee topic as well. We talkd about lots of stuff, BJDs, dolls, Pinkys, Keroro, Rozen Maiden... but mainly I just sat and listened, and told them about BJDs.
Then we went to the third floor of Vivocity, outdoors. Took a lot of photos of Pinkys, and Blythe and Pullip. Seeing Singer High using his big-ass DSLR makes me wanna go get one for myself, but knowing me I'd probably get a better point and shoot camera XP Taesake brought his Shinku Pinky and everyone was ecstatic. We took some more pictures of Pinkys and Blythe and Pullip at another location, and we talked about Rozen Maiden, dolls, sewing. Then Taesake left, leaving his Pinkys with me. Mwahahahaha.
It was 6 O'clock plus when Pinkyboi said he wanted to go to Daiso. That guy went crazy over those miniatures, and he grabbed a few of them. Then he went to another shelf and squealed, because there were more miniatures. DX Dork. We were all scattered around Daiso. After a while, SJ, Pinkyboi and I left.
Okay. Thoughts.
when I first saw Pinkyboi, I thought, WHAT THE FUCK OMFG. He looks eerily like Kent! Kent Lee Jer Ying from Hang Ten! The way P.boi smiles, talks, behaves... no seriously. I wonder if they are related in some way or another... P.boi and Kent are TOO alike in many ways. And I thought P.boi was Kent when I first saw him. *dies* But P.boi is taller than Kent. X3
More guys than girls. I thought girls would be more likely to collect Pinkys than guys, but boy was I wrong!
I had a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to the next gathering. We need more Pinky gatherings yo! It's so different from BJD gatherings and forum meetups. ;3
