More Election Observations

I'm watching all the Right-wing pundits trying to make sense of it all and they're only digging the hole deeper.  It's everybody and every thing's fault except for the obvious--theirs.

-They got slammed by women voters.  They thought they were so cute as they self-righteously derided Sandra Fluke as a "slut" and a "whore" for wanting access to birth control.  Women were not amused.  I don't even think I need to get into "legitimate" rape.

-The 47%.  A lot of the 47% agreed with Romney but the majority of them recognized that he was talking about THEM and they weren't, in fact, lazy freeloaders.  But here's Bill O'Reilly STILL saying everyone that voted for Obama just wants stuff.  From Republican friends the rhetoric has gotten more frenzied as well.  On election day I had one say the polls would start swinging Romney's way later in the day when all the Republicans got off work.  These people do live in the real world right?

-Another delicious tidbit, if the Republicans hadn't been so petty and would've simply confirmed Elizabeth Warren for the post at the Consumer Protection Bureau then Scott Brown might be in Congress right now.  Ha.  Double ha!!

-The childishness of revenge.  Papa John Schnatter saying he's going to lay off people.  I mean, does he think this is going to make any other statement other than he's a total peckerhead?  Does he think anybody that voted for Obama now regrets it because of this act?  No, it makes your party look small.  Keep it up.

Sheesh.
