Happy 2006 everyone :)
To kick off the new year, I wanted to invite you all to
Free the Children's Pit Party for Peace this coming Saturday, January 7. It's in the pit at King's (where all those weird plays take place in the King's A&A) and it's a MASQUERADE BALL! So you must wear masks :)
Admission is free, but there's a $2 suggested donation for FTC's school-building project in Sierra Leone - all the proceeds will go to the project. I think masks are "required," so be creative and go to the dollar store, grab some masks and some craft supplies and glue together something fancy. Or, get them at the door of the ball - we'll be selling cheap, home-made ones at the pit.
And, of course, a masquerade means DRESS UP!! You're welcome to come whether you're dressed up or not, but I know everyone who will read this is perfectly capable of dressing up for the masquerade with things they already have - so please do! It will be another fun night to be fancy :)
If you'd like to come, we can all go down together as I'm sure most of you don't know where the pit is. The old starting time for the ball was 10 p.m., but I don't know if that has changed or not so I'll keep you all updated. If you know of any friends that would like to come, invite them along!
