I pretty much gave it a shot for Eccleston and... yeah - we could have just about cut out any part of the film without him in it.

Joseph Gordon Levit was a very lackluster bad guy - though awesome before put in crazy makeup and the shitty plot. :P

I do that with books. But no, Eccleston can not make anything good, as this amply proves. He cannot even raise everything to aggressively mediocre.

Your team is not awful. Occasionally emotionally fragile and distracted, yes. But not awful.
