All the family stuff - the Petty Officer's reunion with his sister in Haiti and the wonder twins and the parents serving with their kids - makes me go "awwwwwww". It's probably a blessing and a curse to have family serving with you though.

You know, I never even thought about the possibility of parents and children being deployed together, as opposed to siblings, but it makes sense now that I think about it, particularly in reserve and National Guard units. It must be comforting, awkward, and frightening all at the same time.
