Writer's Block: Father nature
He was a shift worker but I remember he was always inside watching football of a weekend.
The lounge room always captured the extreme light of the afternoon sun so the blinds were drawn and he was so completely focused on the TV.
I asked him to explain it to me once and I was hooked.
On AFL. (formerly VFL back then)
I was six years old at the time and I'm still enamoured with The Game.
