I have a lot of things I could be doing tonight. I have a lot of things I should be doing tonight. But instead I am stuck here at the computer, writing a paper about the Ku Klux Klan that is due tomorrow in my history class. I've had about 3 weeks to read the assigned book and write the paper, but no, I had to read the remaining two-thirds of the book yesterday afternoon and then write the paper today. Because my other possible free time this weekend was tied up with church activities and going to a friend's choir concert, I didn't get anything else useful done--like reading for my Ed class, or practicing flute/french horn, or cleaning up my room, or working on my Greek-instrument-research project. I really get annoyed with myself at times like this. Why don't I have the discipline to get things done early and on a schedule, so that I don't displace the other things I need to do? For the fiftieth time, I resolve to procrastinate no longer! Except... I've already broken that resolution again, since I'm posting here instead of working on my paper....
AAAAUGH! I CAN'T WIN!
